2026 Kia EV6 pricing: Minor price increases for overhauled EV
The 2026 Kia EV6 will start from $72,660 before on-road costs, with price rises of just $70 across each of the four model grades.
That slack-price hike comes with the new exterior styling, cabin changes and a larger battery designed to give better driving range.
The updated lineup is due in showrooms “imminently”, according to a Kia Australia release.
Every EV6 is now fitted with the same 84kWh lithium-ion battery pack, replacing the previously offered 77.4kWh unit.
This adds 54km of range for the entry-level Air RWD, which is now rated at 582km claimed under the WLTP test cycle.
The GT-Line RWD has 560km, with the range dropping to 522km in the GT-Line AWD and 450km in the GT.

Kia promises the GT has greater grip and steering feedback.

The electric motors are not changed except for . 168kW and 350Nm outputs are still available for the single-motor Air RWD, while 239kW (a combined total of 605NM) is provided by dual- motor AWD EV6. Its 430kW and 740Nm outputs are still the same as that of the flagship GT AWD dual-motor variant, which retains its power.
Like the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Ioniq 6 it shares components with, Australian sales of the EV6 slowed in 2025, with the Kia suffering one of the largest sales slides at 80.5 per cent compared to the previous year.
