Ford Mustang recalled
The Ford Mustang is being recalled for a software issue that prevents owners from being warned their brake fluid level is low.
It had already recalled 9194 examples of the pony car for this same issue in 2023, but is now recalling 207 vehicles – and even if you own an affected vehicle and took it in last time for the fix, you’ll still need to visit a dealer again as an incorrect software update was performed.
Due to a software problem, the brake fluid warning light may not be as brightly lit as it was intended to warn driver if the level of brake liquid is low, Ford Australia says in its recall notice.
Consequently, inadequate brake fluid may result in an increase in the performance of braking. A lower braking performance may increase the risk of an accident that could lead to vehicle owners and other road users being injured or killed in any way, such as injury or death. ” , ‘I’m sure it is worth reading.
