Hyundai Palisade recalled
After sales and deliveries were paused in March, the new-generation Hyundai Palisade has now been recalled for a defect with its seat-folding mechanism.
The company says in its recall notice notice that the second and third-row electric seat-folding mechanism may not detect an occupant or object, because of a software problem, “the folding function is not stopped when activated.”
The “Flying seat” that does not detect an occupant increases the risk of serious injury or death to any person in or around the folding seat when walking-in and power-folding seats feature are activated on the vehicle. Paraphrasingr ’It is.

The recall follows a halting of Australian sales and deliveries of the range-topping Palisade Calligraphy in March.
