Subaru Uncharted electric SUV locked in for Australia due mid-2026
A launch in Australia has confirmed that the Subaru Uncharted SUV will be the cheapest electric vehicle (EV) yet from the brand, and is expected to be its lowest-cost model.
It’s due here mid-year, with pricing and specifications yet to be announced.
Revealed last July, the Uncharted is a twin to the electric Toyota C-HR+ compact electric SUV, which is not due in Australia until 2027.
Both the Subaru and Toyota are set to compete with the Kia EV3, Hyundai Kona Electric and BYD Atto 3 in terms of size and price, and will slot in under their larger Solterra and bZ4X siblings which start at $63,990 and $55,990 before on-road costs, respectively.
